Homeowners Association Safety Committee Is Seeking Volunteers For
CODE BLUE
CODE BLUE is a cooperative effort between the city of Fort Worth, the Federal Government and interested citizens who wish to help control crime in their neighborhood. Code Blue is a program where private citizens volunteer their time to patrol our community and report suspicious and/or criminal activities to the proper authorities.
** CODE BLUE VOLUNTEERS ARE NOT POLICE OFFICERS **
VOLUNTEERS ARE TRAINED TO ONLY OBSERVE AND REPORT
If you can only spare an hour or two a week or month, WE NEED YOU!! Patrols can be conducted in personal vehicles, bicycling, or while taking a relaxing stroll. Participants are supplied with a radio to maintain contact with the staffed base station and Police at all times. Volunteers will be trained in an 8 hour class on various dates by the City of Fort Worth Police Department in the proper Observation and Reporting Techniques.
