The neighborhood is located between Highway 287 and I-35, south of Highway 114. Conveniently located in the Alliance Corridor, Sendera Ranch also offers families the attraction of sending their children to Northwest I.S.D. schools – including two elementary schools and one middle school located within the community.

A full 200 acres of Sendera Ranch land is committed to the enjoyment of residents.  There are several pools plus a kiddie spray park in the neighborhood, as well as a roller hockey rink, tennis, volleyball, and basketball court, and a covered pergola surrounded by BBQ grills and picnic tables. Like most planned communities in the area, Sendera Ranch also offers miles of greenbelts and parks; many lead to or circle the neighborhood lake and waterfall.  Residents often spend cooler evenings enjoying the view of the lake fountains visible from many parts of the neighborhood.

Started in 2004, Sendera Ranch has seen a wide variety of new home builders in the various phases. Lennar is the primary builder in the newer sections of the community. The size of the neighborhood means many different home builders have brought their floor plans to the addition. That's a good thing for homeowners in the addition as the available plans are constantly changing and always on trend as new home builder compete for new home buyers' attention.
Home buyers considering Sendera Ranch have plenty of choices. Folks deciding to call Sendera Ranch home find they have the usual 50' builder lot offerings to decide between, as well as residences on 1/2 acre lots or larger. Homes in the neighborhood range in size from about 1300 sq. feet and run all the way up to around 4700 sq. feet.

Perhaps the biggest draw for home buyers in Sendera Ranch has been the NISD. The well respected district offers up 3 schools within the community. Some children will attend JC Thompson Elementary and others, depending on location in the neighborhood, will attend Sendera Ranch Elementary. Wilson Middle school and Northwest High are in the feeder pattern as well.
